People Incorporated’s Project Discovery program recently won an “Above and Beyond” Award presented by the statewide Project Discovery organization.
The Project Discovery program gives first-generation students a hand up by helping them with the college application process, arranging college campus tours, completing service projects and more. People Incorporated maintains the program for high school students in Buchanan, Russell, and Washington Counties.
Last year, the program maintained a 124% enrollment rate, received a perfect score on the end of year monitoring, and the national program was especially impressed by People Incorporated’s program curriculum.
